Here’s a review of an edit of one of my long term projects, Strange Fruit. Pretty much a collection of photographs captured all over the Philippines.

Make sure you pump up the volume when you press play.

“In Strange fruit, we see a polarizing Philippines. The flow of image switches from poverty to economic abundance, the fatigued military and the passionate protesters fighting for their beliefs, the existence of religious iconography side by side with evidence of the colonial past, devout showing of faith and then pole dancing. All these chaotic settings seems to be taken straight out of a magic realism novel.”
